The analysis of this blockchain data aids in mapping the movement of funds to and from financial entities like Binance.com, CoinBase.com, Blockchain.com, etc. The sheer volume of daily transactions on the blockchain poses a challenge for automated systems to flag transactions potentially linked to unlawful activities. Consequently, this enables perpetrators to transfer funds to financial institutions, for instance, Binance, without being detected as exploitation services. The individuals in question employ various blockchains and tactics to shuffle their assets, aiming to disguise their transactions. This strategy complicates the process for institutions like Binance to link these assets to exploitation services and also poses challenges for law enforcement in tracking them, often due to limited understanding of cryptocurrency.
